Song lyrics: Abandoned By Bears - Compromise
You're taking me for granted
Can you agree to compromise?
Cause I've wanted this for so long
And my mind keeps telling why
Am I making you nervous, you may not deserve this
But it's time for me to be honest
And make up my mind
When the situation changed, you never stayed the same
By now I've learned to cope with what this means for me
And the last words you said still echoes through my head
Just let me be
Even though I left it all behind
It still haunts me 'til this day
You kept on telling me that the grass is greener on the other side
But where is the fine line?
Have I crossed it one too many times?
And I'm moving on beyond your dagger
My well-being doesn't seem to matter
And when you throw your sticks and stones
You're weakening all my bones
I guess I'm better off without you
I grew tired of feeling pointless and restless
I left myself behind to find some peace of mind
To find some peace of mind
It doesn't matter what you're ready for
Cause I won't take it anymore
