Song lyrics:
Let’s see how this plays out Let’s see what happens next We may not make it to the top but know That we won’t just fade away Into the background Like so many have before We’ll keep knocking ‘til you open up the door And let us in There’ve been so many times We’ve thought of giving in When the road ahead was full Of obstacles left in our way But we’ve battled on and conquered Everything this life could give But there’s plenty more ahead The road is full of bumps and twists We don’t know What lies ahead But we’ve got the fuel To get us there Has this journey just begun Or are we near the end We won’t, we won’t fade away We won’t, we won’t fade Let’s see how this plays out Let’s see what happens next We may not make it to the top but know That we won’t just fade away Into the background Like so many have before We’ll keep knocking ‘til you open up the door And let us in Knock, knock mother f**ker We don’t know What lies ahead But we’ve got the fuel To get us there Has this journey just begun Or are we near the end We won’t be written out We won’t just fade away We won’t be beaten down We won’t, we won’t die Let’s see how this plays out Let’s see what happens next We may not make it to the top but know That we won’t just fade away Into the background Like so many have before We’ll keep knocking ‘til you open up the door And let us in x2 We won’t We won’t fade away
