But you keep me dreaming, when you’re thinking of leaving You packed your bags and said I’m sorry, but I, need to leave With you next to me, I can’t get to sleep It hurts to stay, lips so bittersweet With you next to me, with you next to me With you next to me, I can’t get to sleep Your shadow dances on the wall, as you lie still, your back to the world, Dreaming of summer, and those days with your lover See you pull off, your skin tight jeans in the stupor of five am sleep Your keys in your pocket, my cigarettes and your wallet I hear you whisper I’m sorry, but I, need to leave With you next to me, I can’t get to sleep It hurts to stay, lips so bittersweet With you next to me, with you next to me
