Beartooth mungkin masih asing bagi ditelinga penggemar metal indonesia, Beartooth = Gigi beruang merupakan band genre Metalcore dan hardcore asal Ohio Amerika Serikat ini merupakan band bentukan Caleb Shomo, mantan vokalis dan keyboardits Attack Attack , Caleb Shomo membentuk band ini pada tahun 2013 seusai dia hengkang dari attack attack ia mengajak teman sekolah lama nya untuk membentuk Beartooth, Debut Beartooth mereka meliris Ep yang berjudul SICK, single andalan pada EP ini adalah I Have Problem, menceritakan tentang permasalahan Caleb Shomo seusai keluar attack attack

Beartooth's style on both their EP Sick and their album Disgusting has mainly been described as metalcore, but with more prominent punk rock influences than the style of Caleb Shomo's previous band Attack Attack! (to the extent that Beartooth have been considered a hardcore punk band) and without the electronic elements that Attack Attack! employed. Reviewers have also highlighted his emphasis on catchy choruses. Chad Childers of Loudwire commented that "the former Attack Attack! rocker [Shomo]... is delivering a mix of metalcore and old-school punk on his new band's Disgusting album", while Rock Sound described Beartooth as "mix[ing] metalcore with nu metal and... massive choruses", Kory Grow of Rolling Stone wrote that compared to Attack Attack!, the "smarter, leaner Beartooth have anted up the aggression with poppy hooks and slinky hardcore riffing" and Justin Mabee of HM Magazine said of Disgusting: "while much of the album tends to focus on two-steps, thrash and hardcore, Shomo came from a place where catchiness was in every song". Shomo was also named one of Alternative Press' "15 best screamers in modern metalcore" in February 2014

Pada tahun 2014 beartooth meliris debut album mereka berjudul Disgusting, dengan 12 track album ini sukses di Chart Billboard pada rock band, single andalan mereka pada album ini, In Between, The Lines, Body Bag, Beaten In Lips, Keep Your Americ Dreams Dan Pada awal januari kemarin beartooth baru saja meliris Disgusting Duluxe Edition, memang tak banyak lagu baru pada album ini hanya ada Finish Line, Give it Up, The Lines (Remix)
