We're just dying inside He sits there waiting He's awake but his mind is fading If he sees the sun he'll feel blessed he's won, but I know he won't Well don't you feel upset? (I'm not done here yet) Light becomes a thread (And it fucked my head) I can't (you can) do all this anymore Oh, how the tables turn I needed more, I needed faith I can never write down or begin to explain Why indifference causes difference You are a shot in the dark You know that it's getting old And you're way too far from home You'll just try to get through tomorrow Way too far from home Do you feel numb when they try to Be the ones who try to heal you? I'll break my fourth wall To let my lyrics crawl I needed more, I needed faith I can never write down or begin to explain Why indifference causes difference I'm way too far from home You are a shot in the dark You know that it's getting old And you're way too far from home You'll just try to get through tomorrow Way too far from home We're just dying inside You are a shot in the dark You know that it's getting old And you're way too far from home You'll just try to get through tomorrow Way too far from home
