Mirror Eyes is a band from five different regions in the US that brings an edge to ambient catchy music. The band consists of female vocalist and drummer Jess Coppens and Emily Prather - Sam Stamper (Guitar), Kevin Miller (Bass) Brandon Goldenbaum (Guitar). In a short time, they booked their first show ever at the Nashville spot of Warped Tour 2015, and have secured slots on shows in multiple cities with national touring acts. With influences from Jimmy Eat World to Silverstein, they bring a unique female twist that the scene so desperately needs. I left you in the water to drown Clothes soaked through Just pulling you down Give me a room to hush the sound So I don't hear the waves come And wash you out I was looking for a reason to stay Wasted time, now you're drifting away I was looking for a reason to stay A reason to stay Hold your breath And swim as fast as you can 'Cause the current is pulling you Hold your breath And swim as fast as you can 'Cause the current is pulling you Down................ I took the dive right before the crash Worked up the nerve to never look back Told myself if I fled this place The wreckage wouldn't come my way Hold your breath And swim as fast as you can 'Cause the current is pulling you Hold your breath And swim as fast as you can 'Cause the current is pulling you Down................ I was looking for a reason to stay Wasted time, now you’re drifting away I was looking for a reason to stay A reason to stay A reason to stay Hold your breath And swim as fast as you can 'Cause the current is pulling you Hold your breath And swim as fast as you can Hold your breath And swim as fast as you can 'Cause the current is pulling you Hold your breath And swim as fast as you can ‘Cause the current is pulling you Down................
